WIC-Womans Infants and Children
A supplemental food and nutritional program for pregnant, postpartum, and nursing mothers, infants, and children up to age 5. WIC provides select food items that are may provided on a monthly basis based on qualification.

Workforce Solutions - Child Care
Workforce Solutions administers Child Care Services (CCS) funding to help parents pay for child care while they work, go to school, or while job training. CCS requires families to meet income guidelines. If you are eligible and qualify for services, you may be responsible for a portion of the cost of child care depending on your income and the number of children needing care.

Head Start
Head Start is a program for low-income families designed to prepare children, ages 5 and under, to attend school and excel there. Head Start will help your family by addressing any health needs, connecting you to social programs and providing education services so that the whole family will enjoy a successful school experience. Head Start follows WFISD calendar. Enrollment fills up quickly so applying early is highly recommended.
